Hair color match is an important step in ensuring your hair piece is undetectable. The easiest way for us to create an exact match is to give us a sample of your actual hair. We will follow the color and texture of your hair sample.
To create an exact match, cut a hair sample from the sides or back of your hair - 1.00" long, and as thick as a pencil. If you are not able to supply a sample of this size please send in as much hair as possible (a few strands is not enough for accurate color analysis). If you already have a hair piece with the right color, you can send that in for us use. After you’ve submitted the color to us you can simply select 'color on file' in the shopping cart and we’ll have it for all future orders.
Below is a sample of some basic colors from the New Image Men’s Color Chart. Remember, these colors should be used as a guideline as colors vary due to the digitizing process, lighting conditions, and differences in computer monitors.
Getting the right hair color is what makes a hairpiece look natural. A close match helps it blend with your existing hair. That’s why custom color-matched hair systems are an important part of choosing the right solution.
At TopLace, the focus is on accuracy. The goal is simple: your hairpiece should look like it belongs to you.
A precise color match makes your hair system look natural and undetectable.
Hair coloring is more than just choosing a color. It also depends on the tone and texture of your hair, along with the reflection of light from it. Even a slight difference will be obvious.
The best way to ensure accuracy is through sending a hair swatch. It enables us to analyze your natural hair color and replicate it.
In case you have any hairpiece that looks good on you, that can also serve as a guide for you. After recording your color, you can use it again in your next order.
Fact: Digital color charts may prove useful, but they cannot completely show your color since they do not consider light variations.
Real hair samples provide the most accurate results compared to visual charts.
