How to Tell Your Girlfriend or Boyfriend that You Wear a Hair System
Let’s be honest, telling your girlfriend or boyfriend that you wear a hairpiece takes not just courage, but correct timing in a relationship. Clearly, confessing that you wear a hairpiece isn’t something you spontaneously tell your partner. Wearing a hair system is like women using make-up or dyeing their hair because these products enhance the user’s appearance.

A few weeks ago, forum user emery said that his relationship with his girlfriend “is getting serious” and he will be proposing to her very soon; however, he wears a hairpiece and needs to know when and how to confess this secret.

“Make any difference at all if she’s into you"

Forum member antywanty said that he doubts wearing a hairpiece will “make any difference at all if she’s into you.” Forum member ftwguy said that he has been wearing a hairpiece for “40 years.” Even though his experiences have “ranged from bad to good,” most of his partners “didn’t care, and just asked if they could pull on it without it coming off.” Ftwguy also says that he “never disclose[s] it until after a few months of dating, so they know me versus me with a hairpiece.”

Also, telling your girlfriend or boyfriend that many Hollywood stars like Ben Affleck, Jude Law, and John Travolta wear hair pieces will show them that wearing a hairpiece is normal! In the end, being honest about wearing a hairpiece will show that you trust your partner. Eventually, your partner will find out, and it is better to disclose that piece of information on your terms.
